Busy, Busy, Busy

Hello hog roast fans, well what a first couple of weeks it has been, the amount of enquiries we have had has been unbelievable. We have even had to take on an extra member of staff because the phone just hasn’t stopped ringing. The weekend of the Queens jubilee is proving to be extremely popular so if you’re thinking of having a hog roast on the bank holiday weekend then make sure you get your quote in quick as we have already taken a significant number of bookings.  One of the most popular menus for that weekend is the menu 3 option hog roast, salad, potatoes and of course of all the trimmings, crackling ect. I has been a fan favourite for our regular over the years and why not give it a look.

Happy New Year

Hello hog roast fans, happy new year, I hope you had a fantastic holiday and I’m guessing we are all back at work this morning feeling a little sore after the festive activities. I thought I’d spend a little bit of time this morning keep you up to date with our movements over the holiday period and our plans for the new year.

Christmas was absolutely hectic for us this year we were fully booked on most days and we did our biggest new years eve ever. One event in particular that sticks in my mind is the private party we did in central London on New Years Eve. It was party on a rooftop which provided excellent views of the city and of course the firework display  was spectacular. It was a great night and the hog roast went down really well. That one of the best aspect of working as part of hog roast caterer is that you never get bored. During 2011 we have worked all over the UK on some truly fantastic events and met some great people along the way. We have seen the business grow this year which is amazing considering the economic climate and I am truly proud of the work we have done. New Years Eve spent on working on a rooftop party in London was just a fantastic way to cap it all off.

So here we are in 2012, and what’s new for this year? Well stay tuned for some exciting new menu options becoming available in the next few weeks.  January and February are always important for wedding booking so if your interested in letting us cater your special day then get in touch. Also we are gearing up with what we hope to be a busy summer what with the Olympics coming to town. So we are purchase a lot of new equipment as well as updating some of our hog roast machines. I’m really looking forward to 2012 and already today the phone has been ringing with event in the up coming months.

So here to a fantastic 2012 for all the hog roast caterer fans. We hope to hear from you soon.

Meat selection

Hello Hog Blog readers its time for another blog brought to you from here in the office. Its Monday morning and the start of a new week already we hope you all had just as much fun at the weekend like we did. We headed out not too far from the office on Saturday to cater at a 60th birthday party it was all top secret of course until we got there, a wonderful treat for the hosts father as all of his family got together to celebrate his birthday in style with a luxurious menu. This week we are heading in to the first week of December or as we like to call it the “hectic month” we have the first of the Christmas parties this week on Thursday at a local company wanting a change from the old cold finger buffet with a selection of two meats pig and turkey of course, it would not be the same without turkey at a Christmas event, which is why it has been so popular with our clients this month.
