The heart of England has treasures abound, as I’m sure you’ll agree, and our hog roast company is up there pushing the limits of brilliance. Building our trade in the locality of our precious region, the journey has been an exciting one. Since our beginnings in a Towcester restaurant, discussing ambitious plans for the construction of a spit and pig roasting event company over dinner, things certainly moved fast. Having a huge customer base built on positive reputation, excellent catering and awesomely impeccable service, the concept of a spit roast, from Coventry through to Kidderminster, has been positively re-built.
Here’s a few words form our founder and hardest worker (though the latter part of that sentence is debatable in our opinion!)
In the beginning, there were white vans. White vans everywhere. A hog roast catering job here, a catering job there, it was admittedly tough in the beginning. But surely enough, in a time frame that was retrospectively short, word started to get about that finally this county had a catering company that could really deliver the goods in terms of food quality. The early days were fraught with hilarity, it must be said. We never thought that sailing would be immediately smooth, but funnily enough we failed to receive a single complaint. As we kept pushing out organic produce, cooked to perfection, the custom base slowly started to grow, until word of mouth reports generated such growth to appear near exponential.
Organic produce combined with a link to the poulation’s palates was the key in reality. Having attended high class hog roast catered functions, alongside events of a more intimate nature, all across the globe, the one thing that stood out to us was the lack of apparent quality in the United Kingdom. Sure, we had exceptional restaurants and eateries that were right up with the world’s best. But what we lacked was an identifiable link to cuisine that appealed to the masses and which could also be produced of an exceptional quality. The Spanish had Tapas, the Italians various pasta, but what Britain seemed to lack was a cuisine which the people could associate with. What we brought to the fore was the hog roast. Everyone knows that Britons everywhere love hearty food, substantial food. Food that will sit in your stomach and, though not weighing you down, will let you know its there. Capitalising on this, we knew that a spit roast involving any whole slowly roasted animal, such as spring lamb, would be happily able to combine heartiness, substance, but crucially for us, the inherent sheer quality that the palates of those in Britain had been deprived of.
Nowadays, its of little surprise to many that natural and organic equals great tasting food that is exceptionally good for you. Its something we’ve always insisted on. Today we lead the UK in event catering. Our stance from the early days has shifted lttle, just great ingredients prepared in the best way. Our own line of spit roasting machines reflects our desire for innovation, the desire to make food better since we started. Without that thirst we would cease to be. And it’s the same with all in our firm, our family. Many companies see employees come and go, not us. And it’s the same with our hog roast catered event customers, we’re all part of the family. Come and join us
